All About Hannah

Hannah had a great time turning seven! She started out the night before by hoping that her room would be decorated when she woke up. We couldn't help but comply with balloons and crete paper. She got the twinkle toe shoes she wanted when she woke up the next morning and breakfast from her dad. She was excited when we brought her lunch at school and she finished out the day by going to Red Robin where she was very excited when they sang to her and brought her a sundae.
Celebrating a few days earlier with her Aunt Laramie.
Getting ready for her birthday party. She wanted a Hawaiian theme. They had a great time playing the limbo, learning to hula, playing hula-hula-coconut, eating fruit kabobs and cupcakes, and playing hot coconut. We were glad it was a nice day so all those girls could play outside.

This weekend we took a girls trip to Boise. We had a great time spending the weekend together and hanging out with my cousins Ruth and Angie. Here we are at P.F. Chang's. I love it but Hannah just tolerated it. She was glad when I got her a breakfast sandwich from McDonald's the next day. Then we got to go to Wicked! It was so great. I loved the story. We had been listening to the music for the past few months so it was fun to see how it all came together. I recommend this musical to everyone. It was great. Hannah loved it!

The kicker for the weekend - Hannah broke her wrist! I got a call on Thursday afternoon that she had fallen off of the monkey bars. With her low tolerance for pain, I didn't really think it was broken. But when she still wouldn't use it the next morning and had been awake all night we though we better go have a doctor check it out. Sure enough it was broken. One cute hot pink cast later and it is all fixed. Hopefully it will heal quickly so she can enjoy summer. This is our first broken bone of the family -here's to it being the last!

Hayden-isms

Don't you love his toothless grin! He has lost four teeth really fast which has left him with quite a smile. He sure is having a hard time saying his letter "s" lately.

Here are a few quotes from Hayden -
He came home from school the other day and told me a conversation he had with one of his teachers. He said she was down tying his shoe and he was looking at her and decided to grab her cheeks like we do with Chloe. He then told her "I just love these chubby cheeks". I was mortified that he would say that, but he told me it was okay because she laughed really hard. Does that make it okay?
Yesterday he asked me when it was going to be "Sunday". I said it is today. He said no mom you know "sons" day like daughter or mother's day. You get a Mother's day. I want to sign up for a "Son's" day.
This kid keeps me laughing everyday.

Just for Fun!

Spring always seems to be full of fun activities. Here are a few shots of what we have been up to.
Hannah at her Fame performance. She loves gettting up on a stage and performing. The school did a great job on this. Indoor soccer in Idaho is the way to go in the spring. The games have been much warmer this year and it is great having Hannah and Hayden on the same team.

Easter was a great weekend. They had a great time finding their baskets, paiting eggs, and having an easter egg hunt/treasure hunt at grandma's.

Heath surprised the kids with new bike's last Saturday because they had outgrown their other ones. They were so excited to open the garage and find them. They have been riding their bikes non-stop since they found them. I'm excited for a lot of bike rides this summer. They keep up with me a lot better now with the bigger wheels.
Now that Chloe can stand herself up I find her asleep in the craziest positions. I have found her sitting asleep with her nose to her toes a few times and then there was this one. I think she just finally gives in to sleep in whatever position she is in.
Uncle Cody performing one of his famous baby tricks. Chloe loves it though. My other two were too scared of heights to give it a try.

Chloe loves to tackle and play with Hayden. This girl is all about moving and having fun. She doesn't like to be alone. She loves to be where everything is going on. Hayden loves to play with her. They have a great time.

Happy Spring! (especially now that the weather is warm - at least for a few days)
