V-Day 2012

Our Valentine's Day told through pictures:

Helping with Hayden's school party. He was having a good time so I'm not sure why the sad face. 1st grade is a great place to be on Valentine's day.
I snuck in and grabbed a picture of Hannah's party also. It looked like they were having a lot of fun.

The day ended with a candle light dinner. I could cook anything and they would be happy as long as the candles were burning, but luckily the mal was a success. The day was a lot of work but fun to celebrate and make it special.

Basketball 2012

It has been another great season of basketball. It is a lot of the same team as last year but Hannah joined the team this year with Tylee and Rees. It has been fun to have both kids on the same team. Heath is coaching the team again with Steve. The kids have a really good time but we haven't won any games yet. They are learning a lot though. (If only that was all that mattered - that competitive kid, Hayden, would really like a win).

Got two holes!

Hannah has been wanting to get her ears pierced for awhile now she was just a little too scared to admit it. A lot of her friends and cousins have had it done and with each one she would listen with interest but would always say "I just don't want to". It has always been her decision to make. This weekend out of the blue she decided she was ready. So Monday after school, we headed to the mall with two of her close friends and she got it done. Amazingly after being so apprehensive for soo long, she wasn't even scared and didn't even flinch when it happened. She sure is excited to show everyone but doesn't dare say anything to point it out so if you see her bring it up - you will make her day.
