He's Six!

Hayden had a great time turning six. He woke up to his room decorated, his favorite breakfast and presents from the family. He was actually brave enough to share his poster with the kids in his class and he was happy to pass out brownies and a drink. His dad took him to lunch and then I took him to Blastoff! He also had his first soccer practice. The family came over on Sunday to celebrate and spoil him. What a great day!

Other happenings around here. Not much beside the normal routine. We were sick of the weather one night so for FHE we decided to go to Hawaii - to bad it was just in our family room but it was fun anyway. We laid out the beach towels, drank smoothies with umbrellas in the cup and ate pineapple, listened to music, and played beach games. It took away the winter blah's at least for a night.

This cute girl just keeps on growing. I can't believe she is 7 months old now. She is a pro at sitting up. She is even starting to get up on her hands and knees and move around a little. She loves to be entertained and have something going on at all times. She is constantly moving but loves to have fun. She might keep me really busy when she can move on her own.

New Pictures

We had a great weekend with the Huls family in Utah. We went mainly to use all of my sister's talents. She did my hair and took pictures of my kids. They turned out great! I am so excited to get them printed out and hung in the house. Chloe's age made it a little difficult to get a good shot, especially of them all together but we got some I like. It was so nice to be able to hang out at their house and take the pictures when the kids were ready. Jenn did Hannah's hair so cute too. Hayden was in heaven playing Mario with Shaun and Heath all weekend. Thanks, Huls, for a great weekend.

Winter Survival

Ways to get through the long winter -

Get out and enjoy the snow. We decided one Saturday, if we live in Idaho, we better at least go sledding once. We had a great time being pulled on the four-wheelers.

Participate in Spirit Week at school. This is for fake an injury day. They also loved hat day, pj day, and crazy hair day.
Enjoy some Kindergarten basketball. We have loved this basketball season. Hayden is having so much fun and their team is doing so great. This is one sport I am really enjoying watching and it has been fun to have Heath coach them again.Enjoy these cute girls.

Sometimes it is easy to long for summer but I have to remind myself to enjoy the moment. My kids are healthy, enjoying school, friends and activites. I have had a lot of time to get organized and clean my house. I even got my taxes done today and it was a good outcome. The sun will feel warm again and then I can be thankful for that.

I lost my tooth!

Hayden was walking into his basketball practice the other day and he bit down on his water bottle. He didn't realize his tooth was loose and came in and asked me if there was something wrong with his mouth. He had lost a tooth. We had to go back out in the hall and search but we found it. He was so excited. After writing the tooth fairy the longest note possible ending it with "You can have it, but please leave me some money!", he went to bed really early which is surprising for him. He was truly hoping for $100 bill (seriously he must think the tooth fairy is rich). He was so excited to get his note the next morning and $98 short of a hundred but he didn't care. I think he was most excited to share his news and to be like his other friends that have already lost one.

New Year's Eve - all these kiddos partied at our house with three babysitters while the adults went to anther house for games. It was great. Hayden said it was the best party ever!

This picture is blurry but it is the only one I got with them all together.
