Birthday's are always a great event that seem to end up being a week long celebration. Hayden's started with two family parties the week before. He is lucky to celebrate his birthday with his Grandma Thornton on one side and Rylin on the other. He got to celebrate a few days later at school and then he finally made it to his real birthday on Sunday. He woke up to his chosen breakfast of french toast, bacon and candy syrup. He opened his gifts which he was so excited for the lava lamp and an alarm clock that has woke us all up the last few days. They sang to him at church with the treat from the bishop. He chose a steak dinner and we spent the evening making cupcakes and playing games.
The next day he had a few friends over for a small party. They had lunch, went ice skating and then back to our house to play and open presents. He is lucky to have such great friends. We are lucky to have such a great seven year old.
The crew ice skating. They had the place to theirselves. It surprises me how crazy boys can be. I think they all went home with some new bruises but had a great time.
