Girls Camp 2016

I was called to be one of the stake leaders in charge of our stake girls camp this year. It took many months of planning, but we were excited to be there when it came. Our theme was "Press Forward with the Power to Become". I was so excited to have Hannah up there with me this year. She had a great first year.

We had a really fun kick off party on the first day.
We loved our time on the lake. It was such a hot week!
We had a lot of spiritual experiences.
 21st ward "Incredibles" skit.

Service project for the humanitarian center.
We ended the week with a statue of the Christus on the hill after testimony meeting. It was a wonderful week.

Jackson Family Reunion 2016

We were able to go back to our favorite cabin in Soda Springs with the Jackson side of the family this time. We had a wonderful time being together, eating, playing games, getting dirty riding four wheelers, fishing, and building memories.

We loved going on the zipline. We even convinced Hayden to go on it again after his fall from last year. He was very nervous about it but confronted his fears.

We then went to Bear lake before we went home.

It was so much fun we hope to go back again next year!

Day trip to Jackson

We love to take a day trip to Jackson. We love looking at the Teton's, seeing animals, going to the rock climbing park, walking around downtown, and riding the tram up the mountain. We are blessed to live is such a beautiful earth.

Independence Day and Granite 2016

We love the 4th of July in Idaho Falls. We skipped the parade this year and decided to head up to the lake. It ended up being the wrong choice because the boat wasn't working that day. We did have fun playing int he water and the Dabell's were nice to give us a few rides. We had a bbq at the Jackson's and went to the fireworks at the river.

We made a last minute decision to go to Granite with the Thornton's and the Huls. We always have a great time playing around camp, shooting bb guns, swimming at the pool, hiking to the waterfall, and sitting around the fire. We also went rafting on the way out.

The best part was waking up to screaming one night. We had brought my sister Janet's dog with us. He had gotten sick in the kid tent and pooped all over the older four kids. It was a mess! In the middle of the night, we scrubbed sleeping bags and rearranged sleeping arrangements. It was a night to never forget.

Summer Happenings 2016

Hayden was able to go to Pine Basin. He had an awesome week and was so busy he really didn't miss his family. He loved the night hikes, the staff and making new friends. He also loved going to Jackson and playing ga-ga ball.

We kept getting poo'd by the neighbors.
These girls kept being cute.

We had lots of tball games.
We had lots of fun with friends.
We had food wars.

We spent a lot of time on the boat.
