Easter 2014
Then we made rice crispies nests and decorated eggs. We tried a candy apple kind where you paint it on. They turned out really pretty until we put the mustache stickers on them. The next morning we found our baskets which were hidden around the house. Hannah's was the hardest to find in the laundry basket under the clothes.
Chloe was able to get down Hayden's old bike. She spent the weekend riding it. It was a little hard at first to start it but now she has the hang of it and is spending every warm day on it.
Kinley loves to be outside any chance she gets. She love to jump, swing and ride things.
All dressed up on Easter morning. It was hard to get a good pic with the moving 1 yr old.
Other great things in April - Hannah had piano festival in Rexburg. She got a 98 and loved playing in the foyer. Hayden started flag football and tried out for baseball. He made the Oriole team and started practicing this week.

Washington, D.C.

We had a great time seeing all the sights of D.C. We of course went all around the mall and all the memorials there. We went to the Holocaust museum. I got to go through the white house (heath forgot his id). We went to Arlington national cemetery which was so awesome to see the tomb of the unknown solider. One of my favorite things was while Heath was in meetings I went for a 12 mile run around the city, memorial, white house, mall, and union station. It was so fun to see all the sights while running. We loved the museums too.
For the weekend, we rented a car and drove up to Gettysburg, Annapolis and had dinner and then the next day we drove around Georgetown, the national Cathedral and then to Mount Vernon. Everything was so incredible to see all the history. It really was a great week.

March Happenings
Kinley loves to makes messes - especially when she eats.
It snowed again so Chloe made her own Olaf the Snowman.
Kinley loves to help put these two to bed. This time they got her snuggled up first.
Hayden got to skiing with the Sargent's. He had a great time.

Hayden's 9th Birthday!
A few days before we had a big birthday party for him. We had it nerf gun style. 15 boys came over for all the fun. They ate pizza and played nerf gun games. One favorite was the target practice in the garage. They all tried to hit the Justin Beiber balloon. They had an obstacle course downstairs. Even though it was freezing outside, they had a great time with nerf capture the flag. Then they ate treats, watched a movie, played the wii and more outside time. He is lucky to have to have so many great friends.

While the boys were out . . .
Heath took Hayden to the state boys basketball tournament this weekend in Boise. They had a great time with Steve and Cooper and Kent and Elijah. They watched lots of basketball, swam, ate and went to batting cages. We were lucky enough to have the Huls come stay with us. We had a great time with a girls weekend. We started it off with free airplane rides for girls. Hannah got to ride in this little blue plane and she even got to fly it! It was pretty cool. She really enjoyed it and it made her come out of her comfort zone. We also went to the river that day and walked around and got ice cream. We had grandma Thornton over for a birthday dinner the next day. It was a fun weekend.
