End of the School Year 2015

May is always a busy, fun time of the year. Everyone has programs and fun adventures at school. Chloe ended her preschool year with a program. She worked hard to learn her part and did a great job. She will miss Ms. Joy preschool and neighborhood playgroups but she is so excited for Kindergarten next year.

Choe got to be a princess ladybug again this year. She loved getting her shirt and visor. She loves hanging out with her friends. She loves being part of a team. She loves her coach Trent. She loves snacks after the game and icees. She tolerates the game.

Hayden participated in a Idaho History program. He did a great job. He worked really hard on his project and was excited to share it. He also got to go on a field trip, rendevous, and field day. He loved Mrs. Mortimer but is super excited for 5th grade with Mrs. Weller.

He had a great baseball season. They worked hard, he hit hard and loves the game. His team won some and lost a lot but it was always fun to watch if they could get a game in with all the rain we had this spring.
Hannah had a great end of the year. She finished gymnastics and volleyball. She graduated from DARE. She was brave enough to participate in the bike challenge and ride to Iona. She had great grades. She will miss Mr. Weller but is super excited to be the oldest in the school being a 6th grader. She played hard the last day of school with a water party, trip to the sand dunes and a late night with Hailee and Livy. They made cookies and dressed up like the cookie bandits to secretly deliver them.
This little one was a trooper and made it to everything with a smile on her face.

We started summer off right with a boat to the lake, A hike with the Thompson's, lots of cleaning, classes for mom, finishing work for dad, babysitting for Hannah and enjoying time with family and friends.

Thornton Family Reunion 2015

It is always great to get together with family. We were able to get all of the siblings together and about half of the grandkids. It was great to catch up with everyone. We started with a BBQ at our house. The kids had a blast playing together, especially the night games.
The next morning we went to Grandma and Grandpa's and spring cleaned their house. With mom's foot hurt, it has been a rough spring for her. It was great to be able to serve them. We then headed up to the lake. We had a great day skiing and playing in the water.

May Day's

We love being in primary. Chloe loves her teacher's the Nebekers and is often found sitting on his lap. I still lead the music and Heath teaches a primary class.

It has been a really warm spring for Idaho. We have loved being outside all of the time. We did get that one spring snow storm. Kinley was so excited it snowed she had to go right out and play in it.
Chloe has loved preschool with Joy this year, preschool and Bonneville and a neighborhood playgroup. She is ready for Kindergarten!
Hannah played on a club volleyball team this spring. The traveled to tournaments to Ashton, Sugar city and Snake River. They were a small, young team but they learned a lot and had a great time.
We celebrated Easter with the traditional dying of easter eggs, an easter egg hunt at Grandma's and finding their baskets on Saturday morning. It was nice to have General Conference all weekend and spend lots of time together.

Sara invited Hannah and Hayden over for a traditional Passover dinner. It was so nice she included them and they learned a lot while they were there.
They have loved riding their ripsticks this Spring. It becomes a fun neighbordhood game.
Hannah has done so well at gymnastics this year. She learned how to do her round-off back handspring all by herself. Flips was a really fun gym.
Hannah competed in a 3 on 3 tournament for basketball for six weeks. It was a lot faster game only having three out there. They had a great time and won most of their games.
This little one is growing up! She loves going to all of her siblings events and spending the day with mom. She loves after school time when she can go outside and play with all of the kids. She gave up her binky this weekend which was a big deal to her.
Hayden was so excited for baseball to start. After tryouts, he ended up on the majors on the Phillies. He has a fun coach. They started games this week and got killed the first game but the second game they were closer. He just loves to play.

Hannah's Birthday

Hannah turned 11 this year. She was so excited to go with two of her friends, Hailee and Livy, to the beauty school. They painted their nails and did their hair.
 They had so much fun!
Then we were off to the mall to walk around with their new do's. They giggled a lot and only got in trouble once on the escalator.
Then it was off to orange leaf to end the night with a treat. Hannah got some fun gifts from her friends.
She woke up on her birthday to a decorated room and her favorite breakfast of German pancakes. Chloe didn't wake up before school so she had to wait until the night time to open her presents.

We brought her lunch to school and she also gave her class ice cream. We had a picnic at Hayden's baseball game. She chose Rusio's.
Finally it was time to open presents. A boogie board, a new chair, a neck pillow and some rubberbands for bracelets. She was a happy girl.

She wanted cheesecake instead of a traditional cake. It was our first time making it. It turned out pretty yummy. Happy birthday to this sweet girl who is such a blessing in our lives each day.
