Fall 2014

Fall was beautiful in Idaho and we had lots of fun activities. Halloween is always fun. Chloe had a great party at school. She dressed up like Elsa. Hannah was a nerd and Hayden was a werewolf. Kinley was a fairy princess. We didn't even get a picture - that's how lame we are sometimes.

Carving pumpkins at Grandpa and Grandpa Thornton's is always a fun thing to do. They watch the pumpkins grow all summer in their garden and are so excited when they finally get to choose their own and carve it. We were so happy to have Nick's cute family there with us.
We made a trip to Utah and visited with Granny Great. We did a lot of shopping, of course visited Smith and Edwards, and went to Scheel's. Hayden conquered his fear of heights and went on the ferris wheel. He held on to Hannah pretty tight. We were so glad that Aunt Kristie was able to babysit the younger two (they had a fabulous time) while we took the older two to the Motab Christmas concernt with the Muppets. It was a fabulous production and fun to be out with just the two of them.

We have tried to have dates with each child. This is when I took Hayden to Orange Leaf and we also played lazer tag. We also went to a movie one time and Hannah and I went shopping.

This is when Hannah got her ears pierced for the second time. However they are no longer pierced. She also got contacts so she could do gymnastics and basketball easier. She loves her new look. She is having a great time playing volleyball and basketball.
Chloe goes to Ms. Joy's preschool twice a week, has a playgroup with neighbors once a week and also got to participate in Bonneville's preschool with their child development class. She loved it! It was fun to go with Krew and Kendyl and she loved having her Grandma and Dad check in on her. The high school students did a great job putting it together.
We were able to host my entire family for Thanksgiving dinner this year. It was a major production to put it on but really enjoyable when the day finally came. It was great to visit with everyone. We moved our couch downstairs to fit everyone. The great thing about that was we liked it so much downstairs it stayed and we bought a new one for upstairs. We did lots o fun activities but the favorite was ice skating. Chloe loved her skooter she got to hold. It made it really easy for her.
Especially when someone pushed her!
We ended the week with my birthday. Happy 38th! It was nice to go out with the Becks, Sargents and Christians.
Then the countdown for Christmas began. The loved Fred coming back out, decorating and doing acts of service in our preparation for the big event.

We have a 2 year old!

Kinley had a great 2nd Birthday. She woke up to decoration and a baloons everywhere to play with.
We made her a Minnie cake and she was so excited to blow out the candles.
We took her to Chic fil a for her birthday dinner and she loved playing on the toys. She recieved new a new doll, baby doll bottles and a crib. She was so excited.
We are so blessed to have a healthy, happy, very strong minded two year old!

Christmas 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas 2014. We were happy that everyone was healthy this year - well that was until we all got the flu to finish it off. Above is our annual pajama picture. We also recieved a new book this year.
Christmas morning is always very exciting after allt he wait. Hannah got new luggage and an american girl doll. Hayden received legos and a new nerf gun. Chloe and Kinley got american girl dolls and accessories.
We always enjoy the Jackson get together. We hosted this year. We played fun games and of course ate a wonderful dinner thanks to Heath. Melvin is always good entertainment and the cousins had a fun gift exchange.
The kids were able to have their own New Years party at our house. They had fun with the dare that were put in firecrackers. The adults went to their own party for awhile and then finished up with the kids.

The Thornton side also got together on New Years day for pizza and appetizers. They are always excited to recieve their wood gifts from their grandpa and the cousin gift exchange is always fun.
We went sledding with Heath's cousins and siblings one day on Iona Hill. It was super fun. Especially because the four-wheelers can pull you up the hill.

We also went skiing to Kelly Canyon. Heath and I went away on a overnight anniversary trip to Lava Hot Springs. It was awesome to get away to a fun bed and breakfast. The funnest part of the trip was exchanging our Expedition for a newer vehicle. We love our new car. As Chloe put it, we finally got rid of the skunk.
This Christmas was just a feeling of peace and love for all the blessings we have in our lives. We are truly blessed with great family, friends, health and peace.

Table Rock 2014

We made it up the big mountain this year. This time Jenn, Kaylee, Brianne and Hannah joined us. We had a great trip. We went up and down face which was much better. We had a great time and you just can't beat the view from the top. Hayden cruised up the hill and had to be stopped a few times to slow down. It was a pretty big feat for Hannah and we were so glad that she accomplished it.

Back to School 2014

We were so excited to go back to school this year. Hannah started 5th grade with Mr. Weller. She loves it! It has been a great experience so far. She comes home each day with funny little stories of things that happen each day. She was so excited the first day she couldn't sleep. She had her bed made by 1:00 in the morning. I made her go back to bed and then she was still up at 5:00 for the day. I love it that she loves school so much. She has also started volleyball, gymnastics and piano.
Hayden started 4th grade with Mrs. Mortimer. He also loves it. It has been a great start to the year. He is excited to be back on a schedule and to be able to see his friends everyday. He is also having a great time with football each day.

We can't forget Chloe! She started preschool this year with Ms. Joy. She loves it and is so thankful to have all her little friends in her class. She is going to have a great year.
