March Happenings

We had fun at the park and the sand dunes with the Huls family.
Kinley loves to makes messes - especially when she eats.
It snowed again so Chloe made her own Olaf the Snowman.
Kinley loves to help put these two to bed. This time they got her snuggled up first.
Hayden got to skiing with the Sargent's. He had a great time.

Hayden's 9th Birthday!

Hayden had a great 9th birthday. He celebrated the actual day with his choice of breakfast, cookies for his classmates. We brought him pizza for lunch. Heath and Grandpa Jackson took him out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. He had a great day. He is excited to use his boat at the lake this summer.
A few days before we had a big birthday party for him. We had it nerf gun style. 15 boys came over for all the fun. They ate pizza and played nerf gun games. One favorite was the target practice in the garage. They all tried to hit the Justin Beiber balloon. They had an obstacle course downstairs. Even though it was freezing outside, they had a great time with nerf capture the flag. Then they ate treats, watched a movie, played the wii and more outside time. He is lucky to have to have so many great friends.

While the boys were out . . .

Heath took Hayden to the state boys basketball tournament this weekend in Boise. They had a great time with Steve and Cooper and Kent and Elijah. They watched lots of basketball, swam, ate and went to batting cages. We were lucky enough to have the Huls come stay with us. We had a great time with a girls weekend. We started it off with free airplane rides for girls. Hannah got to ride in this little blue plane and she even got to fly it! It was pretty cool. She really enjoyed it and it made her come out of her comfort zone. We also went to the river that day and walked around and got ice cream. We had grandma Thornton over for a birthday dinner the next day. It was a fun weekend.

February 2014

Hannah and Hayden are getting so good at babysitting. We came home one night and Kinley had fallen asleep in the hall. They were smart enough to know just leave her be until the parent's get home.
We had a fun Super bowl party. We were so excited the Broncos were playing in it. We had a lot of good food and friends. The game, however, ended up not so great. The Broncos lost!
Three cute girls. Kinley this month has mastered walking. She cruises around everywhere and loves to follow her sisters around.
Hannah and Heath went to a daddy daughter date. It was a western theme. They had a great time line dancing, eating and playing games.
Just love these two snuggle bugs!

Valentine's Day

It is great to love Valentine's day when you are a kid. We started the day with a candlelight breakfast. We made everything red - the pancakes, eggs (not recommended again - yuck!), and the syrup. We gave each other our small valentines. The kids were excited to take their boxes and valentines to school.
 Hayden's tank.
 Hannah's owl.
Chloe made cute Olaf snowmen for her preschool class.
We got to plan the party for Hannah's class. We had a good time doing valentine olympics. They were a great class.
Chloe enjoying her sprite and ice cream with a licorice straw.
Hannah with her teacher, Ms. Hammond. Heath took me out to dinner and a basketball game that night. The kids had fun with a babysitter at the Becks. He surprised the kids with co-co bean cupcakes.
Happy Valentine's Day!
