RTR and Joy O's Joint Funeral

Heath received a phone call late last Wednesday night that his Grandpa Romrell had passed away. Being in his 90's it wasn't a surprise, but it was still a shock when you receive the call. It was a pretty emotional time for the family. Grandpa Romrell was a great man who we all loved very much. He taught us perseverance, hard work, true love for family and a strong dedication to family, church and your country. We were very luck to know him and to be a part of his legacy.
After he passed away, we received news that Grandma Romrell was rapidly reclining and would not make it very much longer. She passed away just 48 hours later.  It truly was a testament of how close these two were and such a tender mercy that they did not have to be separated for a long time. Grandma has been quiet for a long time due to illness and dementia but we knew her as a very loving, hardworking woman. She was big on tradition, celebrating, homemaking and family.
It was wonderful to have a joint funeral to celebrate both of their lives and reacquaint with family.

We truly honor them and are so happy we have the knowledge that families can be together again one day.
