I've decided that fall is one of my favorite times of the year. We have had a lot of fun so far.
A few weeks ago, Grandpa Jackson took all the cousins to bear world. We had a lot of fun. I thought the free rides and petting zoo that came with admission made it a lot more worth it.
We loved the double rainbow in the sky after oneof the rainstorms. You can only see one here but there were two complete rainbows clear across the sky.
Hayden was so excited it was his turn to ride in the Hillcrest parade with his dad this year. He threw all his candy so fast he didn't even have any to throw to Hannah when they got to that part.
Hayden has loved his flag football team - the red devils - this year. Their team is a little young and small so they haven't won any games. I guess that is when everyone decides to celebrate the small victories, right? They have scored a few times and made a few first downs. Those are really big things for this little team. It has been a little bit of a shock for Heath to switch from coaching JV high school football to five year olds. He has done a good job with it. I think it has been fun to watch. Little boys are just so cute!
Hannah decided to switch from dance to gymnastics this year. She loves it! They really keep them moving for the full hour. She has two friends in the class with her which makes it even funner. She is such a little monkey climbing up everything. She is doing a great job.
Hannah went to the Hillcrest cheer camp a few weeks ago. She had a great day and then she got to perform at half-time that week. There were only a few that came that night so she was so excited when the cheerleaders lifted her up. I'm just so amazed at how brave she is getting. We will see if she keeps up the bravery this month and actually says her primary part for the first time.
It is so fun watching your kids experience all of these things - especially the firsts - and watching their excitement. It keeps life moving and full of new adventures.
